Chocolate log

1 plain swiss roll ( not too long)

1 foil covered cake board or piece of card

100g soft margarine or butter

225g icing sugar

50g plain chocolate or 25g cocoa powder

Decorations if wanted.

 

Gingerbread biscuits

(Can leave out the ginger for really nice plain biscuits)

350g plain flour

175g light soft brown sugar

100g butter

1 large egg

4 level tablespoons of golden syrup (60ml)

1 level teaspoon bicarbonate of soda

1-2 level teaspoons of ground ginger (optional)
