Crime Prevention
Team
Pupils in year 9 created a
presentation about internet safety for over 150 primary school pupils. The
event was held in the Lido and was part of
the county initiative “Crucial Crew”.

Year 11 Leaver’s
Assembly
On their last day in school pupils
in year 11 were presented with their Progress File in a special leaver’s
assembly. An excellent celebration of their achievements and a chance to
say a formal good bye!

Visit to GE
Year 9 pupils were invited to GE
Power Plant in Baglan Energy
Park. The visit
involved a presentation on the company and a tour of the machinery. They
had a fun and educational time which was followed up with a science lesson
on the how electricity is made at the plant.

A team of 10 year 9 pupils begin
their peer education training. Eventually they will create and perform a
presentation for the county event Crucial Crew.

Challenge
A team of ten year 10 pupils
competed in an army style competition against 11 other schools in the
county. They had to complete a day of mental and physical challenge and came a respectable third!

A team of eight year 10 pupils
competed and won the county competition above. They had to design profitable
recycling business.
