Revision
All pupils in year 10 took part in an
interactive revision session. They learnt important study skills for their
forthcoming exams.

Year 10 Dragon’s
March
All pupils in year 10 went on an interactive day to find out about
careers in the armed forces. This event forms part of their work related
education at key stage 4. Pupils had a really good time – the full display
can be seen by Mrs Flavell’s office.

Year 11 Final
Assembly
On their last day in school pupils in year 11 were presented with
their Progress File in a special assembly. An excellent celebration of
their achievements and a chance to say a formal good bye!

Crime Prevention
Team
The new year 9 Crime Prevention team run by Miss Jones (English)
attended a team building day in Port Eynon. They had a fantastic day
completing various challenges and learning how to surf.

Challenge
Mr Hudson (Welsh) took a team of ten year 10 pupils to compete in
an army style competition against 10 other schools in the county. They had
to complete a day of mental and physical challenges.

Year 9 NPT College Tasters
Year 9 pupils were invited to the college to experience a taster
of a course they may be interested in taking at key stage 5.
Mr Paul Davies took a group to experience plastering.

Quiz
A team of five year 8 pupils entered the competition above. Miss
Jones (English) met with pupils to help them revise and then escorted them
to the Apollo cinema where the event was held.

Entrepreneurs
A team of eight year 10 pupils competed in the county competition
above. They had to design a business to help people with disabilities. They
won a prize for the best poster – a visual display of their ideas.

Presentation Day
Pupils in the school crime prevention team were invited to discuss
their peer education project with the High Sheriff and other dignitaries.

Llandarcy Campus
As part of the key stage 4 to 5 transition process, all pupils in
year 11 went to visit an area of the college they were interested in.
